
SPRING Research contest
The first round of SPRING research contest calls for undergraduate and postgraduate students, registered in Indian Universities, to submit their research abstracts by February 20, 2023. Selected students will be invited to New Delhi to present their research to relevant water stakeholders during the SPRING Water Summit (March 9-10 New Delhi, India, travel and boarding costs to be borne by student). The selected students will enter for a second round in June 2023 and submit their finished research paper.
Eligibility of contestants
- Engineering undergraduate registered in Indian university
- Engineering postgraduate registered in Indian university
Research subject (pick one)
Integrated Water Resource Management (IWRM) – Challenges in India and potential solutions and learnings from Europe
Energy Efficiency in Water Sector – Challenges in India and potential solutions and learnings from Europe
Submission instructions
Send your submission to inkeri.kollmann@fwf.fi (see required documents and information listed below). Last date of entry is February 20, 2023, 5pm (Indian Standard Time, IST).
In your e-mail, include:
- Abstract, 1000 words (pdf)
- CV, 1 page (pdf)
- Full name, university name, course and year
Prizes First round
First prize – INR 16,000/- (200€)
Second prize – INR 12,000/- (150€)
Third prize – INR 8,000/- (100€)
